After Auburn Blowout, Kentucky fans are not mad just disappointed

Where do you go from here as a fan? The season has absolutely eroded under our feet. Kentucky looked like a team that could be rising in the SEC after the big upset of Ole Miss, and all they have done since is tumble. It’s week after week of embarrassment, and most fans have moved beyond anger. A feeling of malaise, or maybe it’s sorrow, but mostly it’s disappointment.

We have a coach making a top-10 salary, and his university buyout is about $44 million right now, and we are a bottom-barrel SEC team. It’s just so disappointing. It’s not just here; many fans are lashing out with their disappointment.

When the bags go over the head, the program is in a dark spot. The hard part is that the crowds have been so great at these games, but the product has not. It’s been ugly. The season is lost, and fans are lamenting this reality…
