Evaluating Brock Vandagriff vs. Ohio

On Saturday, the Kentucky Wildcats put up a season-high 41 points en route to a 41-6 win over Ohio, and Brock Vandagriff had his best performance of the season.

For the first time in two weeks, Vandagriff had consistent protection and was able to read the field and make good plays. As a result, the Georgia transfer threw for a career-high 237 yards with a 71 percent completion percentage.

To start the game, Vandagriff found Demie Sumo-Karngbaye for an 18-yard reception, but it was a screen pass. That symbolized the first two drives for Kentucky, as the offensive playcalling was limited to short cross passes or running the ball, and were held to just a field goal.
