KENTUCKY ( FOX 56 ) — During the extremely cold weather we’re experiencing, staying warm and safe can be a challenge.
With 7 inches of snow in some areas of Lexington, you’ve probably seen people outside shoveling their driveways and sidewalks. But health experts say doing so is a “cardiac stress test.”

“If you go to the hospital and a cardiologist does a stress test, they have a team there that’s ready to respond if something happens,” said FOX 56 chief medical contributor Dr. Ryan Stanton. “Well, unfortunately, when you’re out shoveling your driveway, that’s not the case.”
