Derek Devers, the Assessor for Moline Township, has been honored with the 2025 Outstanding Achievement in Property Assessment Award, recognizing his extensive career in property assessment, his significant contributions to the field, and his unwavering commitment to the residents of his township. He received this accolade during the 67th Annual State Conference of the Illinois Property Assessment Institute, which took place in Normal, Illinois.
Candidates for the Outstanding Achievement in Property Assessment Award are nominated from across Illinois, with the recipient selected by the Board of Directors of the Illinois Property Assessment Institute. Devers was put forward for this honor by several colleagues from the Quad Cities region.
With 12 years of experience in property assessment, Devers has been serving as the Moline Township Assessor since 2020, having previously held the position of deputy assessor in Hampton Township.
