Quad Cities, IA/IL – A near-stationary band of moderate to heavy snowfall is developing across parts of eastern Iowa and western Illinois, particularly affecting counties along the Mississippi River. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Quad Cities, the snow band will continue to fill in and saturate over the next several hours, increasing snow totals in impacted areas.
