BLOOMINGTON — As a young girl, Susan Goeckner wanted to bake just so she could eat the goodies afterward.
She grew up baking with her mom in the kitchen, and recalled that her mom would let her put whatever she wanted in the frosting, as there was no set recipe.
As an adult, Goeckner started baking from home for her husband’s clients, and for parties thrown by her friends and family. She wound up making nearly 6,000 cookies between Thanksgiving and Christmas each year…
