ISU Police add new therapy dog to its ranks

NORMAL (25News Now) – Students and staff at Illinois State University will soon see a four-legged addition to the community.

The ISU Police Department’s newest therapy dog, Pawfficer Korg. will arrive on campus Friday, joining the department’s Community Engagement Unit as a trained therapy dog.

“We’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact a therapy dog can have on our campus community,” said ISUPD Chief Aaron Woodruff. “Pawfficer Korg will be a source of comfort during stressful times, a friendly face for students, and a bridge that strengthens the connection between ISUPD and those we serve.”…
