CLINTON, Ill. (WICS) — The Salt Creek Patchmakers Quilt Guild is set to host its annual quilt show, “Back to Basics,” on March 21-22, 2025, at Little Galilee Christian Camp.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, welcoming both quilt enthusiasts and newcomers to explore the art and tradition of quilting. Admission is $8, with free entry for children under 12.
The show will feature a variety of quilts, including the Guild Challenge and a Winner’s Showcase, allowing attendees to admire the creativity and skill of Guild members through non-voting exhibits. A highlight of the event will be the Bed-Turning Event, scheduled for 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. daily. This tradition involves showcasing quilts layered on a bed, with each quilt’s story shared as it is turned back.
