Two arrested on weapons and drug charges in Woodford County

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. – Two people, including an assistant in the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office, were arrested after a traffic stop near El Paso early Wednesday morning.

The Woodford County Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle involved was stopped for speeding just before 1:30 A.M. on Route 24 and 2500 East.
