BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Mitchell Lewandowski’s goal with 1:22 left in overtime lifted the Toledo Walleye to a 4-3 victory Wednesday at Bloomington.
Toledo, which won its fifth straight game and claimed at least a point in its eighth straight contest, used two power-play goals to claim a 3-2 lead before Bloomington’s Patrick Bajkov tied things 5:12 into the third.
The Walleye applied offensive pressure in overtime, outshooting the Bison 7-2. Bloomington’s Brett Budgell went to the penalty box on an interference minor with 2:07 to go in overtime, setting up Lewandowski’s power-play winner…
