Women’s Golf Places Fifth in Weather-Altered Red Rocks Invitational

SEDONA, Ariz. – A start of a round, followed by a day and a half of weather delays, saw the Redbirds close the door on what ended up as an 18-hole Red Rocks Invitational, as ISU placed fifth overall in the field in the weather-shortened tournament.

The teams made it through just past the halfway point of the opening round before play was stopped because of excess snow. The following day – to finish the first rounds’ holes – the play was never started with snow and a large amount of water on the course, as play of the opening – and eventually only – round was finished.

Jinyoung Yun recorded her seventh top-10 finish of the season and her 14th round at or under par as she finished sixth overall with a one-under 71…
