Women’s Golf Sets Sights on WashU Spring Invite

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The No. 18-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University women’s golf team will compete at the WashU Spring Invite Saturday-Sunday, March 22-23. The 36-hole tournament will be played in Crescent, Mo. at Crescent Farms.

The Green and White will have three teams in the 15 field. Competing on IWU’s ‘A’ team will be seniors Macy Ludwig (Effingham, Ill.-St. Anthony), Jadyn Spinks (Bloomington, Ill.-University High), and Jacque O’Neill (Harbor Springs, Mich.-Harbor Springs), as well as sophomore Emily Gastrau (Wauwatosa, Wis.-Wauwatosa East) and freshman Gigi Zera (Glenview, Ill.-Loyola Academy). Freshman Grace Fagan (Kirkwood, Mo.-Visitation Academy), sophomores Nora Cerroni (Waukesha, Ill.-Waukesha North) and Brooke Erhard (Champaign, Ill.-St. Thomas More), and senior Kylie Hundman (Bloomington, Ill.-Central Catholic) will make up IWU’s ‘B’ team, with freshmen Breanna Brown (South Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) and Caroline Carr (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East), sophomore Sarah Sim (Hoffman Estates, Ill.-Fremd), and senior Claire Ancevicius (Homer Glen, Ill.-Lockport Township) playing as the Titans’ third-team.

In addition to Illinois Wesleyan, North Central, Illinois College, Dubuque, Central, Saint Mary’s, Wittenberg, Rose-Hulman, Wartburg, Gustavus, WashU, Trine, Grinnell, UW-Stout, and Aurora will take part in the two-day event…
