J.J. Hester was impressed with Michael Hawkins’ two-point conversion somersault play

Oklahoma’s J.J. Hester spoke to the media about his big fourth quarter play and Mike Hawkins’ starting quarterback performance.

What did it feel like in the fourth quarter making that big play down the sideline?

J.J. : It was definitely a surreal feeling. If anybody knows my story, they know I’ve been battling with injuries. So just to have a moment to help the team out in the dire situation is a blessing. I’m definitely still settling into it. In the moment we had to keep the drive going and score so I didn’t get to really soak it all in. But I definitely feel blessed…
