LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Nevada Little League team will not advance to the Little League World Series U.S. Championship game after a loss against a Florida team.
The Paseo Verde Little League team from Henderson, representing the Mountain Region, lost to the Lake Mary Little League from Lake Mary, Florida 6-3 on Thursday.
The Henderson team previously beat the Wailuku, Hawaii team from the West Region 3-2 on Monday and the team from Staten Island, New York on August 15, which they won 9-1.
