Two members of the New England Patriots Hall of Fame have purchased an ownership stake in a rival franchise. Tom Brady and Richard Seymour, who own a combined nine Patriots Super Bowl rings between them, are now partial owners of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Both moves were voted on this week, and made official by the people involved on Tuesday. Whereas Brady will reportedly own a 5 percent share of the Raiders, Seymour’s percentage is not known at the moment.
Both men have previous connections to the Raiders and majority owner Mark Davis. Brady and Davis are both owners of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, in a similar minority-majority split. Seymour, on the other hand, spent three seasons as a Raider to cap off his Hall of Fame career…
