Celebrating Our Own: Buffalo State Alumna Brianna Ware Shaping Futures at Cleveland Hill Schools

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we spoke with Brianna Ware, an educator and graduate of Buffalo State University. Initially aiming to be a guidance counselor, Ware found her calling in teaching after observing a kindergarten class. This led her to earn a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s in literacy from Buffalo State, known for its strong teaching programs.

Ware continues to advance her education in educational leadership at Buffalo State. She also works as the dean of students at Cleveland Hill Middle School and High School in Cheektowaga, New York, where she influences student lives and promotes educational reform.
