Bridgeport resident to receive 7-year sentence for armed carjacking on Fairfield Avenue

BRIDGEPORT — A Bridgeport resident will be sentenced to serve seven years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday to a gunpoint carjacking on Fairfield Avenue last year.

Jaquez Bostic, 19, pleaded guilty before Judge Tracy Lee Dayton to charges of first-degree robbery, carrying a pistol without a permit and evading responsibility at the Bridgeport Judicial District courthouse.
