Huntington lost a number of residents this year who contributed significantly to the community in a variety of ways, from Michael Schulman, who, with his wife, Linda Beigel Schulman, led gun safety efforts after the murder of her son in the Parkland school massacre in 2018, to Nancy Bartow, who was active in the Centerport and Asharoken Garden Clubs. Others included volunteers, lawyers or built careers in real estate.
