OAKLAND, California — A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with the December 2024 homicide of Ponciano Chano Tule Bernal, according to the Oakland Police Department. The incident occurred on December 26 in the 1100 block of Foothill Boulevard.The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against the juvenile for their involvement in the crime, stated the Oakland Police Department. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation just before 4:15 p.m. and found the victim with gunshot wounds.
