WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — The Wisconsin Dells Police Department is continuing the search for a missing boater in the Wisconsin River, who has been identified as Francesco L. Di Filippo, 20, of Chicago, IL.
On Late Thursday night, the WDPD reported a capsized boat on the Wisconsin River. There were three individuals on board, and one managed to swim safely to shore. This survivor was met by police and rescue units and was subsequently handed over to emergency medical services for evaluation and treatment.
The other two individuals were not immediately found, and the search was postponed due to high water flow from the Kilbourn Dam and fast-moving currents. Rescue teams, with assistance from Sauk County and Columbia County dive teams, launched multiple boats to search for the missing boaters…
