A 23-year-old woman was left in critical condition after a hit-and-run incident near San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton. The collision occurred on Thursday evening at the intersection of Pacific and West Yokuts avenues, as reported by CBS News Sacramento.
According to the Stockton Police Department, the woman was walking near the sidewalk in front of the Delta College sign when she was struck by a Tesla. The driver of the Tesla, a 27-year-old man, fled the scene but was later detained by college police and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, as per, ABC 10.
