OCALA, Fla. — The Ocala Police Department is investigating after a pursuit ended with officers firing at a vehicle and its driver Sunday morning.
According to the police department, officers pursued a vehicle from the 1800 block of NE 14th Street to a diner on the 5100 block of East Silver Springs Boulevard. In the diner’s parking lot, two officers fired their service weapons at the pursued vehicle and driver.
The vehicle’s driver was not struck and was then taken to the hospital for minor injuries…
