Friday, September 13, the California Center for the Arts in Escondido once again became the vibrant hub of culture and art with its 2nd annual El Grito celebration.
El Grito commemorates a pivotal event in Mexican history that marks the beginning of the country’s struggle for independence from Spanish rule. This year it took place during intermission of the extremely popular Musica en la Plaza free music series.
