On Wednesday, we reported that multiple businesses were broken into overnight at the Sunshine Square shopping center in Rockville. On Friday, the Rockville City Police Department (RCPD) released additional details about the incidents, along with surveillance photos of the suspects.
According to RCPD: “The Rockville City Police Department is actively investigating a series of commercial burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of October 23, 2024. The break-ins took place at businesses along the 800 block to the 1600 block of Rockville Pike between 1:00 a.m. and 1:40 a.m. The unknown suspects smashed the glass of the businesses, gained entry, and stole cash and merchandise. The suspects, all wearing masks, fled in a white Audi Q5. These burglaries are believed to be connected to others in the county…
