BILOXI, Miss. – The Kansas men’s golf team sits in a tie for seventh place after the conclusion of the first round of the Fallen Oak Invitational in Biloxi, Mississippi on Saturday.
“It was a fairly sluggish start today,” said Kansas head coach Jamie Bermel. “This is a really difficult golf course and when you get yourself out of play, the key is to get it back into play. Unfortunately, we counted two triples and two doubles and it really hurt us. If we can clean those up, we will be just fine.”
