One arrested after rejection at KC nightclub leads to parking lot shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – One man is behind bars after rejections of advances for sexual intercourse allegedly led to a shooting outside a Kansas City nightclub in early September.

Documents filed in Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court revealed that on Tuesday, Sept. 17, Gary P. Jones Jr., 27, of Kansas City, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action after a shooting outside of a Kansas City nightclub.

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says that just before 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 6, emergency crews were called to the area near a local nightclub with reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a female victim who reported she and her cousin had met two men at the club, one of which was later identified as Jones…
