More warm temps, sunshine before possible heavy rain moves into the Mid-South

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Get ready for more rain across the Mid South this week.

An approaching cold front will bump up our rain chances tonight into tomorrow. Low end severe (1/5). Gusty winds will be the threat in any strong storms. Rainfall totals through Wednesday night will be between 0.5-1 inches.

Helene will make landfall as a possible major hurricane by the end of the work week along the Florida panhandle. Location will be nailed down as the storm continues to develop and track through the Gulf.

Thanks to this approaching cold front, Mid-South temperatures will be near 80 tomorrow and the low/mid 70s the rest of the week…
