OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – An Omaha home was destroyed in a fire Wednesday.
Omaha Fire crews responded to the area of South 44th and S Street around 4:30 p.m., and on arrival, they found heavy smoke coming from a single-family dwelling and declared a working fire.
The blaze, which caused an estimated $60,000 in damage, took about 15 minutes to get under control, according to officials. No one was injured as a resident of the home had already evacuated by the time OFD arrived, but the structure is a total loss…
