OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A woman was detained Thursday after reportedly being in possession of a loaded firearm at the entrance of an Omaha city building.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says that a Taurus 9mm G2c handgun was found in a woman’s purse in the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center.
Officers intercepted the gun at around 2 p.m. Thursday after seeing it on the scanner, according to a release.
