LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Bad news, Southern California residents: Drought conditions are back.
The U.S. Drought Monitor this week released a new map showing the entirety of Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties are abnormally dry or worse.
While nearly all of Ventura County and northwest Los Angeles County are abnormally dry, the rest of Southern California isn’t as fortunate.

All of Orange County and the majority of Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties are in moderate drought, though the eastern portions of the Inland Empire are in severe or even extreme droughts.
