Shaboozey ignited the 2024 BET Awards with a killer performance on Sunday evening (June 30) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.
The Virginia native brought country to Hollywood, performing his hit single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” in a makeshift saloon. Paying homage to the original “Tipsy” creator, Shaboozey closed out his performance with a surprise guest, St. Louis’ very own J-Kwon , who performed a remix of his 2000s hit “Tipsy” alongside the country star.
Shaboozey, 29, recently caught up with Billy Costa backstage at the Kiss 108 Kiss Concert 2024. He shared the story of how he ended up on reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Innovator Award recipient Beyoncé ’s COWBOY CARTER — along with Brittney Spencer , Tiera Kennedy , Tanner Adell and Reyna Roberts , to name a few — and more.
