Sad news for Jasper. Father Ron Foshage announced on Sunday that he will be leaving town to serve as priest of a church in Sulphur, Louisiana.
Foshage who has served as priest of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Jasper for 40 years, has not only ministered to the Catholic Community, but the everyone of all religions in faiths, tending to their spiritual needs.
In addition to serving as priest of St. Michael’s Father Ron has also served at St. Raymond’s at nearby Lake Rayburn, Our Lady of LaSalette in Kirbyville and also the Toledo Village Mission at Toledo Bend…
