Police officers in south Texas execute search warrant leading to narcotics and firearm seizure

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police Department’s SWAT and Narcotics Detectives executed a search warrant on Thursday, resulting in the arrest of a local man and the seizure of various narcotics and a firearm.

The operation took place at a residence in the 3800 block of Waco Street, following a lengthy investigation into narcotics trafficking, according to a press release from the Beaumont Police Department. During the search, detectives discovered suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, Xanax, and a handgun.
