SLED looking for suspect in Denmark Grocery shooting in Bamberg County

BAMBERG COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is asking for help from the public in identifying the suspect of a shooting that took place in Denmark, S.C. this month.

Denmark Police Chief Leroy Grimes requested SLED’s assistance on Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the investigation of a shooting that occurred after 8 p.m. at the Denmark Grocery on 59 Magnolia Avenue.

The owner of the store owner was shot and taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. No other injuries were reported.
