Unbelievable! Hurricane #Milton now has winds at 180mph, which is the most powerful hurricane in the Gulf since Rita of 2005, which also had winds at 180mph. The strongest hurricane in recorded history in the Atlantic basin occurred in 1980 under Hurricane Allen.

This storm is now more powerful than Hurricane Camille of 1969 and Hurricane Katrina of 2005.

The new track has the path moving right over Tampa and Orlando area Wednesday night into very early Thursday morning. Landfall likely as a high end category 3 or category 4. Keep in mind, very significant impacts will be experienced north and south of that landfall point, which is the reason behind the large hurricane warning which includes Tampa, Orlando and Fort Myers.

Storm surge at Tampa Bay is now expected to be at 10ft to 15ft, which would be disastrous for that area.

If you’re in the path, please take this storm serious!…
