Chico council members plan to tackle the safety of massage parlors.
Councilmember Deepika Tandon had put the item on the agenda for last week’s meeting, but council members voted unanimously to move the discussion to its internal affairs committee, which meets monthly.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 7 and the topic could be brought up then. Tandon said she wants the committee to discuss more oversight for massage parlors…
