Wisconsin law enforcement agencies team for dozens of arrests during ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Multiple law enforcement agencies in southeastern Wisconsin teamed together for Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over in December, leading to hundreds of traffic stops and dozens of arrests.

According to the New Berlin Police Department, between December 13, 2024, and January 1, 2025, the City of New Berlin, Village of Big Bend, and Town of Brookfield Police Departments participated in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over national campaign.

The campaign resulted in the following results:

  • Total traffic stops: 475
  • Total citations: 372
  • Total warnings: 245
  • OWI arrests: 12
  • Drug arrests: 10
  • Felony arrests: 2
  • Misdemeanor arrests: 8
  • Warrant arrests: 13
