SHAWNEE, Kan. (KCTV) – The Shawnee Police Department said that with the help of Lenexa police, their officers were able to get a stolen vehicle and suspect off the road.
Around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, Shawnee officers identified a stolen car on the road. The car had reportedly been seen going in and out of several neighborhoods and apartment complexes throughout Lenexa and Shawnee.
Lenexa police laid stop sticks down in the car’s path but it kept driving into Shawnee. It ultimately came to a stop at 63rd and Quivira and the driver reportedly tried to run, but a Shawnee officer took him into custody without incident…
