HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – An Evansville man is facing numerous charges after he tried to allegedly flee from police on a bicycle.
According to an affidavit, Evansville Police were on routine patrol at 3:11 a.m. on Thursday when they saw a man on a bicycle in the 600 block of Madison Avenue. The man was identified as Michael Mueller, and EPD says he had multiple warrants for his arrest.

The affidavit says Mueller went into an alleyway before ditching the bike and running on foot. Officers eventually caught up and after allegedly resisting arrest, Mueller was able to be placed into custody.
EPD says a search on Mueller found a folded piece of aluminum foil that contained a white powdery substance in the back of his waistband, a red straw with burnt residue in his jacket pocket and a hypodermic syringe in a small shoulder bag…
