With a playoff game on the line, Providence rose to the challenge on Thursday. They skirted past the Tell City Marksmen 2-1. That’s two games straight that the Pioneers have won by just one goal.
The win got Providence back to even at 8-8-4. As for Tell City, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.
Providence will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Northeast Dubois at 4:00 p.m. Northeast Dubois will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Providence surely won’t give up without a fight. Tell City does not have any more games scheduled as of now…
