A quarantine at Baltimore City jail has delayed the Circuit Court proceeding for a defendant who is expected to plead guilty to a hit-and-run that killed 42-year-old Heidi Rose on St. Patrick’s Day in 2023.

On Oct. 23, Derek Glenn’s defense attorney, Natalie Finegar, informed Judge Jeffrey M. Geller that a Covid-19 outbreak has led to a quarantine at the Baltimore Central Booking & Intake Center. Although Glenn does not have Covid-19, Finegar said, he cannot be transported to court at this time…
