Former Baltimore County councilman drops out of county executive race

The number of candidates who want to be Baltimore County’s next county executive is declining.

Former Baltimore County Councilman Tom Quirk told WBAL NewsRadio that he withdrew his name from consideration for county executive. He said this is because he would have to sell his retirement investment business to take the job for only two years.
