People get out but cats die in Ventura house fire
A house fire broke out late last week in the attic of an east Ventura home that claimed the lives of four of five cats found at the scene.
The people living inside escaped without injury from the blaze reported around 5 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Ventura Fire Department.
