PADUCAH — A local library is still accepting donations of undergarments for local children in need through Dec. 30.
The Drop Your Drawers campaign, with author Dav Pilkey’s popular children’s character Captain Underpants as its mascot, was well underway Wednesday at the McCracken County Public Library. The drive collects new underwear, socks, undershirts and bras.
The garments are some of the most requested, but least donated items to charities. This year’s Drop Your Drawers is the library’s eighth annual campaign…
