MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. — Tuesday morning surveillance footage that appeared to show a McCracken County School bus spilling fuel onto the road and in someone’s driveway sparked conversations on Facebook.
In the video, the bus pulls up to one of it’s stops, and lots of what appears to be fuel leaks out of an open gas cap, all on the side of the road. When the bus comes to a complete stop, even more fuel splashed into the driveway.
This isn’t the first incident involving McCracken buses this school year — they made headlines in August when a driver dropped students off in a parking lot. In December alone, two buses were involved in accidents — one involved a car and the other only involved the bus, which ended up in a ditch.
All of these incidents, which happened amid a national bus driver shortage, are raising multiple questions from parents concerned about the quality of the district’s drivers…
