A pickup truck driver in Kentucky learned a quick, albeit expensive lesson in pettiness after trying to kill a giant snowman
A family in Kentucky built a nine-foot snowman to brighten their neighborhood. He’s a traditional snowman, made of three large snowballs that get progressively smaller as he rises in height. The family topped him with a top hat—nothing out of the ordinary there. However, the trio who built the dapper winter monument used a wide, sturdy tree stump as a spine for the creation.
Imagine the surprise when a pickup truck driver thought they would make short work of the community-favorite snowman. The driver slammed their vehicle into the base of the creation, undoubtedly hoping to plow through the snowman and bring him toppling to the ground.
Instead, the hidden tree trunk stopped the pickup truck driver in their tracks. However, the impact wasn’t enough to kill the vehicle, and the owner drove off.
