Townsquare Media CEO Bill Wilson touts his company as a “Digital First Local Media Company” that has evolved well beyond its broadcast radio roots, and the company’s third-quarter 2024 earnings call on Thursday was another opportunity to drive home the point.
Wilson said Townsquare’s digital revenue returned to growth in Q3, contributing 52% of total net revenue. The momentum was driven by “very strong digital programmatic advertising growth rates,” which increased by 10% on a year-over-year basis, marking a sequential improvement from Q2.
“We are most excited and confident about our digital programmatic business, where we have unlimited growth opportunities…” Wilson said. “Programmatic makes up about 60% of our Digital Advertising segment today, and continues to be the fastest growing revenue stream in our Company.”…
