Jeremy “J.J.” Austin, 51, of St. Augustine, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
J.J. was born March 26, 1973, in Pusan, Korea, and was adopted by Chuck and Elke Austin in 1978. He lived in Rochester, MN, until the age of 10, when he moved with his mother, Elke, and stepfather, James Foote, to Stewartville, MN. J.J. graduated from Stewartville High School in 1991.
J.J. dedicated 25 years of his life to the restaurant industry, primarily as a chef, where his culinary skills and passion for food were well-known to his friends, family, and customers. After relocating to St. Augustine Beach, FL, about 20 years ago, J.J. continued to enjoy life in Florida, with its beautiful beaches and warm community…
