A powerful cold front is set to hit Northern California tonight, bringing heavy rain and strong winds to the region. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Eureka warns of 1 to 3 inches of widespread rainfall, with higher elevations in Del Norte and northern Humboldt counties potentially seeing over 4 inches. High wind warnings are in place, with gusts strongest along the Del Norte coast and elevated terrain.

Sunday will bring scattered showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms, particularly along the Humboldt and Del Norte coasts. Snow levels may drop to 3,500–4,000 feet, with minor accumulations expected.
