The Riverside County Fire Department fought off vegetation fires in both Anza and the City of Coachella Monday morning.In Coachella, the six acre fire, being called the Tyler Fire, displaced a total of eight adults and one child after the blaze destroyed two structures. The vegetation fire in Anza halted traffic off of Highway 371 for several hours, as firefighters fought the flames.At this time, both fires are under control. Officials with CalFire told NBC Palm Springs, they’re now helping assist fight the several fires in Los Angeles, starting with their incident management team.”…We also sent out quite a bit of equipment last night, a mixed strike team with multiple agencies within the county that that was a battalion chief and three type three engines, 15 total type one engines, four hand crews and two bulldozers, all on the suppression side to go help between two of the different fires.” Captain John Clingingsmith Jr., the Public Information Officer for CalFire says.Here at…..
